A joint venture between Spackman Mossop Michaels and Lahz Nimmo Architects (LNSM) were awarded the preparation of a masterplan; recording the historically and culturally significant site, a detailed design, and documentation of its major components. The project was triggered by the new $500 million spillway. The project included a $6 million Visitor Information Center and Operations Complex, various ancillary structures, viewing platforms, landscape works, and roadways.
