Rain Garden

Tulane University
New Orleans, LA

Tulane University completed the first project from the 5-Year Stormwater Master Plan, the Tulane Native Gardens. This project aims to help with flood mitigation and storm water management on the Academic Quadrangle and will also be a place where students can gather, study, or relax. The beautiful campus rain garden and public space highlights over 20 plant species native to the region capturing up to 7,000 CF of rainwater through integrated green infrastructure techniques.
