Chinatown Public Domain Plan

Public spaces

Client
City of Sydney
Location
Sydney, NSW

The Chinatown Public Domain Plan provides urban design concepts for improving the provision and quality of public spaces throughout Sydney’s Chinatown precinct. Opportunities for ‘winning back’ public space have been identified through targeted road closures, footpath widenings and potential shared zones. Our recommendations are presented as a series of public domain upgrade projects, which will form the basis of future design briefs to be implemented over the short, medium and long term.
